The companies deploying AI aren’t doing it to supplement their workforce but to supplant it.
AI isn’t joining the workforce, it’s replacing it. Slowly but surely. And the results are mediocre, but it’s cheap mediocrity.Yep, it’s great for anything where sloppy results are acceptable… which judging by how bad most people are at their jobs, could be a significant portion of the workforce.
Because it’s shit. It’s so bad that it can’t even do basic maths.
And it hallucinates. A lot.
As it is, it’s basically a glorified and extremely expensive auto-complete.
