Man only ate fruit, and didn’t believe in having baths or showers. He was doing this all off the writing of the Vitalist Arnold Erhet, to try to get rid of his own mucuse.
It caused him to choose alternative medicine when he had cancer, and he died with regretting kooky beliefs that didn’t really help him. Also, he was a workaholic and bad father.
He also believed a phone or a computer should cost months of an average salary.
And don’t forget about littering the world with planned obsolescence of millions of electronic equipments yearly.
All the harm he did to himself is just a drop in the ocean compared the the cult he created of people willing to pay literally anything for the crap he sold.
There’s a reason Stephen Holstrom from Pantheon looks just like him. (I highly recommend the series if you haven’t watched)
