This reminds me a lot of a great piece I read about Wendy and Richard Pini, the couple behind ElfQuest. He was very much the Roy to her Walt, making her comic creation dreams a reality. Very sweet; I hate that I can’t find the specific article or video that I got all that from or I would link it, but it went from the days when she was a little girl drawing comics, to her doing early cosplay and then meeting, up through trying to get a movie made and finally looking back on their legacy.
