I have a conflicted view of Netflix. They’re a classic big American corporation and come with all the bullshit that entails, but at the same time they do occasionally do some cool things.
Like releasing queer content despite the backlash from the right. They released that “gay boot camp” series recently and it absolutely enraged right wing bigots. This thing with blender is another example.
I am very nervous about their Warner Brothers purchase and am hoping they prove to be responsible owners of all those IP’s. It seems quite unlikely, though. There are so few American corporations who aren’t shitty.
I had to read it three times, I couldn’t comprehend Netflix doing something good.

As a Batman fan, it just occurred to me that I really hope Netflix won’t ruin the IP if they get the chance to buy WB.
They also recently reversed their cheapest tier restrictions. Now it can be ran from 2 devices, 5 profiles, 1080p and downloads.
