Something similar to how Kagi allows you to up rank or down rank results from specific domains, I would love the ability to mark certain tags as “undesirable”, so they are penalized in the front page algorithm. My specific reason for this is that I am sick of seeing so many <code>vibecoding</code> posts, as I find the vast majority of them uninteresting. However, I recognize that this is part of the industry now and so it would be silly to ignore it altogether. So a nice compromise would be for one to be able to apply a penalty to certain tags like this one, so only the most popular of it’s like are surfaced. I’ve yet had a look at how difficult this would be to implement for Lobsters.
