If you’ve spent any time with Claude within the past 3 to 4 months you’ll have noticed a massive decrease in performance and viable solutions. Claude hallucinates the majority of its solutions now, it’s a useless LLM and I’m not optimistic that Sonnet 5 is suddenly going to fix the obvious issues Claude has had since the fall. Also saying it could be ahead of something like Gemini isn’t exactly the most glowing praise to throw at it.
