I am too tired to create a list of names here since our dog underwent surgery today and my mind is slightly in shambles by now.

Comedians: Bill Hicks, George Carlin and Doug Stanhope.

Musicians: Peter Spilles, Robert Del Naja and Gregory John McCormick.

Politicians: Bernie Sanders and many leftists from Europe.

Unironically, Threshold is one of my favourite Star Trek episodes of all time. It’s just interesting to watch Paris going through all the body horror changes.

I did, but undercover. It was hilarious!

A lot changed in my life after graduation, including my first name and my surname (the latter due to marriage, the first thanks to deed poll, I always disliked the name my parents gave me…).

A few dear old friends from school knew about me living abroad, about all the other changes going on in my life and since all of us were the weird folks back then, we decided to prank everyone else big time.

So, I went there as a friend of one attending. Fricking no one recognised me. Not a soul. But they kept asking why person x was the only one no one found contact details of online, or any other way of contact. The person they knew just disappeared into thin air after graduation.

A big mystery no one could figure out who wasn’t in on the ruse. Some great theories we’ve overheard that evening included, but were not limited to:

A) dead

B) in prison

C) became a hermit

I stood right next to those people I went to school with for over 10 years, some I knew even longer.

It was a fun challenge for me keeping a straight face for the entire evening while drinks were also involved. Not one person could figure out they knew me in the first place. :D

I used to live in Ireland for many, many years, but I’m mostly German.

I always have to laugh about German stereotypes in tv shows or movies, though. Two that immediately come to mind are Family Guy’s Road to Europe and Road to Germany. I enjoy that sort of humour, and I can take a lot of jokes regarding my heritage.

But yes, that TNG episode was just daft and racist.

My best friend (from Cork, Ireland) hates that episode with a passion.

I used to be an okay harmonica player in the past. Haven’t played in years, though. My sweetheart recently bought me a new one. It’s a very different model, so now I’m starting from scratch again.
