A quick check at amazon shows these costing about $14 each, no doubt much less in bulk but still expensive. Perhaps inquire with the shipper if they would accept them for reuse if cleaned. If the shipper is friendly they might consider setting up a program to collect these from your city and return them for reuse. The shipper could save considerably on costs and you might have found a new business.
Time to fire the interim chief
Yeah, who needs investors and new customers!
“…the evidence has always shown that this driver was solely at fault because he was speeding, with his foot on the accelerator – which overrode Autopilot – as he rummaged for his dropped phone without his eyes on the road.”
If that’s true then this suit is bullshit. If that’s true.
Hey how does Lemmy plan to deal with local laws like these?
This leaves IT leaders having to choose between a potentially painful upgrade to Windows 11 and having to pay a massive amount of money for continued Windows 10 support, depending on how many seats will remain on Windows 10.
I think the real choice is whether to keep paying the company that has put this gun to their head. MS continues to degrade the windows experience simply to increase their own revenue.
A nice explanation of what’s wrong with web-based AI. I hope other content providers follow suit.
For the VM? Yes just one for that, but I have 3 monitors for the Linux box that hosts it.
This is alot like me. Two years ago I ditched windows and there have been some bumps but I’m happy to have done it. It took me about a month to find Linux equivalents for everything. I still have a VM with windows so I can run a legacy dev tool but that’s the last thing.
I’m also the IT guy for a small (20 person) company. Now I have to get all of them to adopt Linux. I’m for sure not supporting the heap of junk that is Win 11.
Microsoft’s terrible OS and even worse sentiment for the user is killing the PC hardware business. Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc need to turn to Linux.
Search is to Google as F150 is to Ford…anything that threatens it makes the whole thing crumble.
So maybe AI will finally convince HR to charge their hiring practices?
Translation: the early numbers on unemployment are awful
Darn, I was sure Rubio would be the first to go
Oh just a minute, you mean the product that Microsoft gave you (as they crushed as much open source competition as they could) wasn’t really free?!
This is an awesome app, fuck Google.
