Verification of citizenship is already done, the burden just isn’t on the citizen. You have to provide a lot of information to register and if it doesn’t check out you won’t get registered or you’ll be arrested if you falsified something. Successfully registering when you’re not a citizen requires either big lapses on the govt side or extensive personal info from a US citizen. This is why immigrants voting, legal or illegal, is incredibly rare.

Edit: Calling public defenders “not good” is a bit low but they are overworked and under-supported, therefore I rephrased to say they’re ineffective.
This trend of non-coverage will probably continue if we don’t think of something different. I for one rarely go to my downtown area so it could be easy for regular people at least to miss what’s happened.
It’s a little more on the dangerous side but I had an idea of a “stop in” rather than a “sit in”. Basically we pick a day and time and no matter where you are, you just come to a stop for one minute, not speaking or making noise, just being still. It’s something people can do anywhere and only takes a minute of your time, but if enough people do it then it would look kind of crazy, like something from a sci-fi movie. There’s like no way this would go uncovered or at least unGoogled.

The better you get at coding, the less you’ll probably write code. This is for two reasons: you can’t fuck up code that isn’t written and you need people that understand the bigger picture to focus on making that picture clearer. This unfortunately leads to junior and mid-level developers writing most of the code. But it’s not like things would be 10x better if senior devs wrote everything, because even for someone experienced coding well is fucking hard.

Considering it is one thing but the right is outright saying it’s either the most likely cause or the cause of the outbreak. I’m willing to consider food additives and other processing methods to be contributors to autism but I wouldn’t say it’s a “possible cause” when there are only vague correlations to that effect.
