I’m in that transition period right now. Where I’m fully realizing the weight of how fast time has flown and how much I’m aging but yet I’ve still (theoretically) have a semi decent amount ahead of me. Every year the song hits a bit harder.

10·12 days agoI’ve lost my old man three times this week. First two he was just hanging out behind the curtain. Third time I’m like, I’m going to check behind the curtain! Nope. He was under a desk on top of the air vent. That’s how I knew the heat had kicked on.
Nah, you’re just over reacting and emotional. It’s just a flesh wound. I don’t know why you would get so worked up about this!
I had to double take lol

This reminds me of something I heard many years ago, “people love to hear good things about their bad habits.” It unfortunately doesn’t surprise me that red pill won out. Those who don’t want to do and self work are prime targets. Those who are overwhelmed by the work but still are willing to do it, can still get sucked in. Humans are fascinating. Even if that fascination isn’t all good.
Glances around
I mean, it’s working just fine. 🤷♀️
