Necessary and necessarily for me. Can’t spell 'em to save my life.
It burns when I poop

Honestly I never really did. I asked some kid in 5th grade what Santa got him for Christmas and he scoffed at me for still believing. I went, “uhhhh yes… this is information I definitely already knew. Yesssssss…” and never really brought it up with anyone again. ¯\(ツ)/¯
Almost all of those are for the database release, not the production release.
Even if they are for the current production release was last April. Considering the buggy mess their product is, that’s kind of unacceptable for an app that is supposed to hold your entire lifes data.
You can sink the ship with jury nullification, sure. But in terms of stopping hundreds of millions of people from seeing this dudes face, no you can’t.
That ship sailed a long time ago.
As best I can tell, no such thing happened. Feel free to provide some credible sources to back that up though.
Can’t put the genie back in the bottle. Would probably be a different story if China released this years ago.

I get it. And I don’t necessarily disagree with them, but it gives me concerns over the long term viability of the project. If obsidian did blocks the same way logseq did I’d probably jump ship and use that, but you can’t really brain dump in obsidian the same way you can in logseq.
Basically unmaintained at this point until they release the DB version “some day”. And you’re delusional if you think they can maintain both versions at the same time. They can’t even update the current production version that they already have without focusing all their efforts on a new app that hasn’t been released yet.

Its theft like every other pump and dump
Yes this works but not with flatpak steam unfortunately.
Completely, if you look at tiling window managers.
If you’re a gnome user check out PaperWM as well as Search Light (which is like Spotlight or whatever its called on Mac).
And Vim really is that good. I started using it a few years back and I can’t imagine using anything else. There’s a bunch of Vim alternatives, like Helix or NeoVim if you want to explore.
Yes, this is an excellent video! Thanks for finding this, I couldn’t remember which video I saw this in when I was typing my reply.
If this is something that interests anyone reading this thread, PBS Space Time has a number of excellent videos on the topic of black holes and their theoretical alternatives.
You know I got super high a few weeks ago and imagined something similar to this so I’m pretty sure they’re on to something here.
Its just a part in the equation where you’re dividing by zero, that’s all. We know you cant divide by zero, so it means our theories are incomplete.
The gravastar theory is notable (IMO) because it does away with the singularity. Although, it seems like this theory is borderline unfalsifiable, since any way you could detect a gravastar would also be insistinguishable from a black hole.
Personally, I am of the (completely unsubstantiated) opinion that black holes create universes (somehow) because it is a simple, succinct answer to many questions. So, any theory that takes that seriously would be worth further research, imo. But until there is some kind of observational evidence, I think this is just relegated to the realm of “that’s a neat thing that math can do”.
Download a random app an execute it blindly to check for some malware I’ve never heard of? Hard pass.
I’m still rocking my RX480 and its going strong. Starting to show its age and not sure what I’ll upgrade to next, but for now it works nicely.
There’s a third option: Black holes create new universes through some as yet undiscovered process. Then your existence just becomes a statistical eventuality, as do every other life that you could ever live.
