The signs and the speakers were all trying to cover abortion, billionaires, voting rights, Palestine, schools, healthcare, unions, immigration, corruption, the environment, judges, etc.

People had good intentions, but the unifying message needs to succinct and easy to understand if you want to cut through all the noise.

Drive through New Mexico and it will become abundantly clear. There are only around 2 million people in the entire state. Half of the people live in 3 counties, and a lot of rest of the state is a whole lotta nothing, dying or dead towns, and single trailers separated by miles.

Not gonna lie, that’s a pretty compelling reason to move to New Mexico. Santa Fe is also a pretty fun little town with a cool art scene and killer food. The classic car scene there is also pretty rad.
