Sometimes the fix has been done but the effect takes a while. For a cache to age out or a change to propogate. It all depends on what you are working with/on. Or you made a change but forgot to restart a specific service.
Meanwhile even though you did a fix correctly and aren’t aware of it, since it doesn’t seem to work you change something else and break it again inadvertently.
Ok, so I get it from context but before this I didn’t even know “washed” was slang for anything.
I just looked into the website. The address on the page is fake… There is no Philmont street in Antioch, CA.
Where can I buy this?
I do this all the time for that one long command I use monthly like for cert renewals.
You beat me by 1 year. I switched to slackware when windows 95 came out because I liked cli from ms dos 6.22

It’s an AI. Why wouldn’t it use the repetitive motion of drawing a line infinitely to use it to improve itself?
It theoretically has endless patience. The good news is that it will never take over because it tried to draw a straight line until the end of time.
There’s a number of shoujo anime that would fit your list, but it doesn’t make it overseas because the majority of the foreign fan base doesn’t like it. There’s also a bunch of BL anime and manga that is popular in Japan, but not outside for the same reason. For example, take a look at “Aishiteruze Baby”

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•How do I use public URLs but route within my home network?English
19·2 years agoSet up an internal dns server that will resolve your specific host name to an internal ip and forward everything else.
If you just want a specific site, you can use bind and response policy zones. The advantage of this is that you can now configure your dns server to take advantage of block lists on the internet and block malware/ads/tracking domains.
