I remember reading somewhere that Netflix produced shows needs to cater to “second monitor” usage, or passive watching. As in constantly repeating plot points, simpler plot, anything that makes it easy to follow something while doing anything else

AI slop is just another way they do it. Even better, no need to deal with pesky actor unions or production unions and other such annoying anticapitalist things.

As a kid I slid down a slide once into fire ants

I hate that I know what that entails.

Idk, it could still be genuine. maybe I just don’t fly enough, but every time I get the chance I’m amazed that humanity managed to achieve flight.

My sister knows I like knives. She went to Switzerland with her husband and bought a Victorinox for me. I think it was at the airport so she didn’t had the chance to check in with her luggage. TSA equivalent at her layover in India confiscated it. She was livid.

Similarly, SD and microSD cards. Much like RAM and storage, I wished I threw away my adult responsibility a bit and stocked up on them

Books and manga, and music, honestly. Without video it would take some adjustment because honestly I use or more like background noise for my eyes and ears lol but I can manage.

Books can be fictional and non fictional stories, manuals, guides and recipes.

I think I’m glad that microslop didn’t go with Cortana as their dumb LLM name.

Not that there were any good back when Cortana was the Pc AsSiStAnT for Windows, to be clear.

Technically it’s my elbow as I accidentally tried to K.O. a concrete pillar, as it did not break skin

Actually now that I think about it, I can’t remember the last time my new word of today, wenis, was injured.

If businesses can’t compete with often-underfunded libraries then that’s their own fault lmao.

Apparently that’s me lol

As a redditfugee, I was in the males fashion sub way back when they were small but growing and someone came along and built a wardrobe app similar to this. It’s not like I’m into fashion much, but sometimes I just want to feel put together for my own satisfaction

Well now that I’m here I’m more receptive to FLOSS software and movement, self hosting and stuff

For me personally is because I don’t have property to charge overnight.

And I’m in a country where China is flooding their EVs in the market.

Edit: to clarify, I am convinced with EV. I’ve been drinking the big oil koolaid for too long and glad I stopped. Better late than never.

Tbf I haven’t really done my research for local charging stations and their prices. Also the fa t that even the market here being flooded with cheap Chinese EVs, it is still more than I can responsibly afford. So for now I keep maintaining my current petrol car.

This actually looks wtf lol

I’m saving this

NGL even from back in reddit I only notice the vote score after I clicked on a post or after reading the comments.

Thanks.

Waterfox and IronWolf installs

Maybe that’s why. I use Zen. Perhaps Waterfox and IronWolf already have uBO installed by default and added that AI block list?

Sorry, I’m still not seeing it. Firefox says uBO is already updated.

I used to do that in forum sites years ago. There’s a kind of exhilarating excitement to it. Especially when I’m “behind” and mass quoting and replying to each quote. It was also exhausting.

I kind of miss it

I’m not as much of a SW nerd as my friend, but according to him SW fans are eating good with the massive expansion of the Clone Wars in the past decade.

So the prequel trilogy is really mediocre to be very nice. But seems to me the shows after the Disney acquisition made gold out of that turd.

Everywhere I go I see fucking thorns!
