Apparently all it needed was a little pain and chaos, the loss of healthcare, snap, LGBT rights, a felon in the Whitehouse ignoring congress and the judiciary, a stacked supreme court, a govt shutdown, unemployment. Inflation, high grocery prices, extrajudiciary assassinations of foreign nationals, coercion of foreign policy, open interference in another countrys elections, censorship of the media, restarting of nuclear tests, literal demolition of parts of the office of the executive branch, …

But I’m sure all of that was only a distraction from what was really happening.

So how is the judiciary expected to enforce this?

Says the guy weaponizing the DOJ against his opponents right after accusing the other side of doing the same.

It’s almost like people who don’t understand how govt works shouldn’t be president. Or even be allowed to vote, for that matter. It seems like people think there’s a magic wand that the top guy can wave and everything just falls into place.

Just remember - voters looked at the 2 candidates and said ‘yup. I like the orange one’. This is not a good look, America.

If you can do it once, you can do it again. Even if they went back to work, or pressured the Dems to back down this time, what assurance do the federal workers have that the republicans won’t just do it again sometime in the future? It’s not even the Dems fault - the RS have had the power to resume business the whole time. Never mind the random furloughing, shutting down of ‘nonessentials’ and doge creeps running around again? That’s just the surface of it.

I don’t worry about the protestors out in the wild. I’m upset at those who protest by not voting.
