Lemmy is a different kind of hostile. It’s users (some of them) are hostile like redditors, not like twitter users. Though both are unbearable, I find the redditor version way more annoying. Cuz they’re sneaky about it. They do it sarcastically. Tiniest error on your part and they’ll take the opportunity to call you an idiot and degrade you. You can picture them having a smug little smile on their faces while writing comments.
