I’m a redfugee came with the big exit about a year ago. I post prolificaly, comment sporadically and have a couple of comms. I love it, it feels more like the olden days of the Internet when everything was smaller and you knew people. I sometimes idly scroll Reddit but not even once a week, it’s fucking dire and atmosphere is shit. Insta I’m on a few times a day for memes and Reels.

I agree it can get extremist. I’m left in some areas, right in others so I just keep my opinions to myself. I’ve found generally when I say anything that isn’t extreme left I get some nasty comments. It’s a shame cos I love balanced and reasonable conversations with people.

I agree with you he definitely doesn’t think things through. I also agree he’s using a generational word. I personally think he’s got anti social personality disorder and at the very least he’s a documented dv abuser, they’re manipulative. They can be thick as fuck, but with good manipulation skills

May well be, however he’s calculating and manipulative. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was deliberate.

I hear you. Emotional dysregulation is hard and children in abusive homes often struggle with it. It can effect how we see the world and how people see us. Best thing you can do is take ownership and start working on it with counselling.
