Hiking the Grand Canyon was nice. Tiring, but nice.

People recognize my husband (visual disability) and my twin (distinct dress style) around and it makes me so fucking uncomfortable when they do. Especially now here in the us. Please don’t remember us. Forget us and leave us alone. But they act like I’m an asshole for being super uncomfortable with people just fucking coming up and being all “oh you’re from x place!” cause also just because they recognize someone doesn’t mean you comment on that?? I was taught that was rude as fuck?? You also don’t know us at all???

I had bread machines for awhile, but they all invariably broke down, the last one leaking horribly. I’ve taken to using my stand mixer to make the dough without having to knead, and it’s been working for me! Not quite as set and forget though. Unless I want to take a nap to bread rising and wake up to dough taking over the kitchen!

Maybe I should play Star Trek Online again…

For the most recent things that they’re actually taking seriously? Around a year. I’ve been sick though for longer, but they don’t take that very seriously so idk.

That is a hill I died on, and luckily everyone else in the household got in line so I didn’t actually die. I do most of the baking, we’re keeping that box balanced for me otherwise no more cookies damnit.

Hmm. Only thing I’ve found is I don’t like hot lettuce (so on a hot sandwich where it also gets hot). My husband hates raw tomatoes but loves everything they become. Sibling hates raw onions but likes them soft and cooked into soups and the like.

When I had a period, they were extremely difficult to track so I gave up. I love you, depo shot, and if they take that shot away I’ll go feral. My period is 7 days long with 3 of those days so heavy I can not sleep longer than 1 hour or I bleed over. Now I do not bleed.

I knew I was going to like my husband when the first time I went to his place he had two little cats!

A HUGE majority of fire stations here are volunteer. Paid firefighters are extremely rare. But it’s a physically demanding job so volunteers are rare. It’s also a very important job. So it attracts a certain type of person that thrive on that mentality of, “I’m doing a hugely important job, for free, look at me” sort of thing.

Most are good people but a lot make it their entire personality.

Sometimes scratching just isn’t cutting it, and the human brain is…well it’s something and it tells me bite the itch cause teeth are stronger and you try and it doesn’t help.

Nap with cat is the best time.

Kitten has been grumpy though because my mother’s cat was here and so all naps were with her (since the bedroom is the only place to keep her alone from kitten) and so kitten is salty there were no naps and now won’t…nap. She’s a dingus. I love her!

See, that’s what some other people told me as well! I’m fine if the vampires want my possibly tainted blood, just as long as they send some of it to testing to find out what’s wrong!

Hopefully! Today was just intake. They took all my blood. Okay, a lot of blood.

Figuring out why I’m sick! I saw a new doctor today. The staff was nice. Every single time I step foot in the office, my blood will be stolen. Exciting!
