I’ve been employed for a good 25 years of my life. I’ve either, been too valuable to fire and have had too much knowledge of where the bodies are buried, worked for myself, or worked for my parents company. I did have one normal job once a few years back, for 90 days and then it was a mutual resignation. Ive never really had a boss I’ve ever feared, ive always been on their “team”.

I’ve never had a job where i could be fired, it sounds incredibly stressful.

Very few things get me to audibly laugh while scrolling…

There have been a few. The best idea was a rail that went down every road. You could call train pods like an Uber to go anywhere. Computers could regulate everything. Anyone could use them. Cars are dumb.

I’ve got a bowel obstruction 2 years ago and i had to pay 6k for my deductible and my insurance paid 12k. I got a tube down my nose, some xrays and stayed a night. I currently know its going to happen again any day now and it almost happend two nights ago and I was in horrendous pain. I could go to the doctor and they could probably help me and stop it from happening again. However, I dont have 6k to spare to find out. So until it is debilitating, we’ll just have to see what happens.

Yeah, you go into a doctor’s office and they’ll have 5 secretaries to handle all that paper work. I didnt do Healthcare, but for a minute I was a service administrator for a car dealership who’s job, among 7 of us, was to do the billing and warranty/insurance claims. The paperwork was insane and had to be presented in a precise way or it wasn’t accepted. I can only imagine what hoops health insurance makes these offices jump through.

Carlos Alquazari definitely did a lot more things, like reno 911. Hillenbrand was a creative executive on Rocco and went of to create spongebob. And, yes, go immediately and watch mr show. It’s not just me saying it, its sooooo many comedians favorite comedy ever. Groundbreaking in so many ways.

He was also on the greatest show of all time called “Mr. Show with Bob and David”. And went on to become an absolute legendary voice actor. His imdb page is absolutely insane.

As someone who lived off of tips for a a couple decades, I agree with all of this despite the down votes. It’s a skill. The people down voting would be flabbergasted by how hard the job is working in a nice, busy place.

Can you imagine what it must be like to have a stake in roku when you get the news that the company is going to be sold for 22 billion? Do you just immediately nut and throw up at the same time?
