Not TV, but I’ve told people to skip the first two books in the Discworld series, Sir Terry doesn’t really get into his stride till a little later, but book three is where his talent starts to shine.

Amazing comment.
I’m in NZ, of there is a naive blackberry, I’ve never heard of it. But we have a lot of blackberry in this country, it all sucks.
They are spreading seeds… That is the point of the berries.
Nothing eats the plant.
Even goats, which famously will eat blackberry, will eat anything else first.
Blackberry is evil.
If it is not native to your country don’t plant it! Nothing eats it, grows extremely quickly and is very hard to get rid of.
So is that like LD100 or something; I’m not technical so trusting your numbers here.

About 100 years.

no no no; since you are using zsh you will need to use ragedit not regedit.

NZ:
Doctor visit is fairly expensive, but very dependant on whichever government we have in. Between $0-45 per visit, kids are always free up to 18 years old. Kids meds are free.
ER is free, any meds prescribed from a hospital are free.
Dentistry is free up to 18 years old, excessively expensive after that.
Generally injuries are covered by ACC, so specialists related to an injury are also mostly covered.
I spent 28 days in hospital 3 years ago, including helicopter transfer on day 1 and two weeks later ambulance ride to a bigger hospital. Got surgery on my lung and various other procedures. Total cost $0.

Sorry for the rant.
Nuanced point is not a rant!

This soccer playing robot isn’t much of a threat, it can be equalled by an elite player with years of experience.

Fire, the wheel and the printing press, would be my top three.
But the modern world is all about the manipulation of electromagnetism.

Whilst the industrial revolution started with mechanical power; the harnessing of steam essentially. The modern world owes everything to the mastery of the electron and the photon, and more generally the exquisite control of electromagnetism.
The manipulation of electrons enables the iPhone; touted as the possible pinnacle of achievement; basically every industrial process on the planet is monitored and controlled by electromagnetic means.
Our true highest achievement is the ongoing development of the control of electromagnetic phenomena; we bend electrons and photons to our will, manipulate matter on the smallest scales using these forces, measure the bending of the fabric of reality, and probe the secrets of the universe. The iPhone is but one small aspect of this continuum of knowledge.

The hands of fate are kind today.

If I got an old kindle; how easy is it to jailbrake it and install a better system?
The way to eliminate the risk is a lot more complex tracking wise but worth it for the risk reduction.
Effectively using spread focus tracking; multiple lower powered lasers provide the power to destroy the mosquito but no single laser has enough energy to damage your eye.
It would require extremely accurate positioning and pointing of the lasers and most likely two cameras for the tracking to get accurate distance to target. I thought of this years ago…but never really cared enough, I live in an area with no mosquito issues.
