Obviously state depending but I was able to order my long form online after filling out about 15 minutes worth of filling out info on an official state website. Showed up a week later, state seal and all.

The Floppy Emu device for interfacing microSD cards with old Apple II hardware has an addon product you can buy that places a large relay between the Floppy Emu and the Apple II. The relay is hooked up to the data lines (decoupled though so it’s safe) so reading / writing will generate remarkably realistic sounds, especially if you house the device inside the computer’s enclosure where it muffles and colors the clicking sound. It’s so no necessary yet it totally is.
It is definitely a reference and I don’t know why you got downvoted for that lol.
Get rid of smartphones entirely.
Yes, look on their website for compatible models, there’s a handful of affordable ones, many which perform better on higher tier connections too. Been using my own modems with Comcast for 25 years.
What a perfect loop.
Just add your own context menu shortcut for .deb files that runs sudo deb -i $_

I’m in lesbians with you.
Litter box math is important. Very simple equation: 1 litter box per cat + 1.
A litter genie (like the pail you linked) is a great choice for building the habit of cleaning the litter box often. Recommended to keep one near each litter box.
Also be aware, pine bedding can be an irritant to humans and cats (and many other mammals). It’s usually not recommended— mostly due to the dust. Pine pellets tend to be more safe due to how they’re processed.
Be wary of canned tuna- it tends to have higher levels of mercury which over time (such as daily feeding) can cause heavy metal poisoning in humans an and small animals. I personally don’t even bother, my cat gets freshly cooked shreds of meat as treats once in a while and special occasions.
On the topic of training: be patient, don’t use a water bottle or snap / loud shouting. Instead, when they’re doing something they shouldn’t be, calmly pick them up and physically move them to somewhere they can be and provide a toy or activity to replace the thing they were trying to do. Such as a string toy or other floppy toy out in the open if they were caught playing with computer wires under the desk. This goes for scratching too, if they are scratching the door/couch/bed/carpet, etc— place cardboard or rope scratching posts and pads nearby and physically move them from the bad spot to the good spot. Move around the good spots as needed based on what you observe. You will have to do this a lot, generally, but be patient and they will get the message. Positive reinforcement includes those toys and scratcher, you don’t have to provide a treat every time, especially as they grow up and become more independent.
All the time! I say maccas for McDonalds.
It’s the guts of a pair of headphones, retrofitted with a battery and audio jack. Consider it a Bluetooth audio receiver and DAC with standard audio output.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that a politician pretending to care and doing everything based on optics can still further the progressive agenda. Progress is still progress I guess.
He just better not win the DNC nomination…
I thought it couldn’t get better when System 7 had color support. It was such a revolution. Then Aqua came along and everything changed. Liquid Glass looks pretty nice to me but I’m mostly just glad we’re getting dimension back. Material flat UI is a stain on the world.
2024 model here, supports ipods, wired and wireless CarPlay/ android auto, 3.5mm aux, Bluetooth. Only thing it doesn’t have is physical media (cd, dvd, cassette). If you plug in an iPhone that supports CarPlay, but turn off / disallow CarPlay from the phone settings, it just shows up as “iPod” too, so any downloaded music works fine.
Free sorting is always the way to go.
When I was about 6 years old, I had just gotten back from spending a weekend with my cousins who were like my siblings because I was an only child. We had fun running around and playing catch and riding bikes etc. and my cousin showed me monster trucks for the first time ever. So while I was alone in my room I had the tv on waiting for a new episode of monster trucks to come on and throwing a football across the room to myself, jumping onto my bed to catch it.
On what would be my last attempt, I lobbed the ball, took a couple steps and jumped forward. Unfortunately, I misjudged the distance. The next thing I know I am on the floor trying to sit up and looking around trying to figure out what happened. When I looked down I saw a stream of blood dripping onto my arm and hand. I just screamed until my parents showed up to help.
I wound up being taken to the urgent care and spending a night at the hospital because I landed face first onto the sharp wooden corner of my bed frame, shattering my nose into 6 pieces and splitting my face open requiring reconstruction and about 80 stitches. Decades later and you’d never know it happened but boy do I think back at how dumb that was lol.
It’s a feature and it’s also ok to choose to use it.
