Your colleague sucked at automation. Normally, I’d say no one should be bothered on vacation, but in this case you should have called him on his vacation, since he didn’t value anyone else’s time either.

I’ve always found IPAs more like chewing pine needles, but agreed. IPAs are fucking disgusting.

It’s not all pizza toppings. Lol. It’s a case of a silly card game.

The biggest selling point for Chromebooks was that they are A) Cheap and B) Simple/Fast. Education and Enterprise used them because they were easy to manage.
The cheapest Googlebook is $899 and it’s biggest selling features are a bunch of AI junk nobody asked for. They also cannot be managed yet in the Google Admin Console.
I expect this to flop something terrible.

It’s not the same thing, but CalyxOS will run on it and supports relocking the bootloader so you don’t have that security concern like with LineageOS.

That’s basically how Trump treats the regular US constitution, so why should this one be any different?

I’m sure after 6 months, the midterms being over, and them controlling both the house and senate, they’ll make sure to send a strongly worded email telling Trump not to do it again.

I have a few. Two from Senville (Midea rebrand) and a third from Cozeware (AUX rebrand with Tuya controller).
This was the most recent one from Cozeware. Got it for $354 after tax for their 12k BTU unit.

Took about ~$100-150 for the lineset covers and other supplies.

It’s because the US is a very car centric country and large geographically. We should have invested in high speed train, public transit in major cities, etc., but we didn’t.

Not if you store the excess you produce in sodium batteries

All good homie

Heat pumps jumped in price? I just installed one myself for $450 all in (wiring, disconnext box, breaker, unit itself, concrete for the pad, etc.) for a 12k BTU unit in my living room.

That’s only relevant for NiMH batts. If you use Lithium rechargeables, their curve is flat around 1.4V until they’re close to dead.

While I share the sentiment, they do have a master toggle to turn all of it off.

As someone who works for a company that develops FreeBSD kernel code, your doing an awful lot of conflating between BSDs. You’re basically saying that ChromeOS and Fedora are the same because they use the Linux kernel.

How do you figure FreeBSD is influenced by Apple? macOS and iOS don’t use FreeBSD. They use Darwin, which is a BSD fork, but not related to FreeBSD at all AFAIK besides they have some of the userland tools.

While I’d like to refute what you’re saying, there is at least a non-zero number who would think that.

I think it’s more likely that Trump will do a very small gesture to “fix” 3% of the problem temporarily right before the election, they’ll all go “Oh look he’s working for us!” and then go back to the same old same.
Any chance we could move that timeline up a bit? I’m free next Tuesday to be instantly immolated by a Nuke.
