On the bright side it’s like a dog puzzle bowl; I had strict parents when it came to tech, and now I work in tech, and I’m not letting my hypothetical kids have social media until they’re ready. It is good that this gives you some happiness; my joy for such things has significantly declined. Making the agent hellscape cutsey seems fruitless and somewhat macabre to me.
But a demographic they all were and most will one day not be. Yes, there are overly parented kids; and yes our system makes the stair step function of responsibility incredibly steep. But there will be plenty of time for scrolling and phones, screens in general in classrooms are not the curl all we thought they were.

I don’t understand why this happens; why would you ever be working with a live production DB in the first place? Why would’t you do all your development and testing on a mock? If it’s data which is too large to store the schema can still be mocked; and if it’s data it should be backed up and generally read only. If you’re having to manually fuss with user data you’re doing something wrong.
Well it’s hard to ban that without the other without making a fuzzy line anyone can argue they haven’t crossed.
