I like tiling systems, but setting up the entire environment from scratch just gets in the way of what i actually wanna do. I’ve settled on using Plasma with Krohnkite, and it’s been perfect for me

I feel like it’s just a matter of time, until they pull the rug from under lifetime subs.
But in any case, this is probably it for me. I’m not completely happy with jellyfin performance on my server, but the price hike puts me outside of what i’m willing to spend for this service. I already host it myself, and i can tunnel it myself too, if i ever decide to run it outside of my home network
My GearS3 finally kicked it, after 8 years, and my other watch is even older than that, so the more premium rePebble is actually quite appealing. If i decide to get an update, i’m still debating looking at something like the Garmin Vivoactive though
Most of it was pretty much said in the previous announcement from the Asahi leadership. The TL:DR is that people are incredibly entitled, support took a huge downturn, but demands kept rising, and allegedly there have been numerous personal attacks on people. The Linux project leadership drama was just the whipped cream on top of the cake
He did make those claims himself, in the past. Which of course means fucking nothing, because actions speak louder
Stuff like this should be studied in some kind of a medical facility. How do people flip their entire worldview overnight, and become colossal bigots, with the most aggressive and violent thought processes?
The original, yeah. I still dont know what exactly is wrong with it though. It would not even launch with Proton 8 or newer, would get to the splash screen and freeze with Proton 7. I could have probably tried older versions too, but ultimately just played it another way.
Ultra Deluxe reportedly runs flawlessly as is, and so does it’s native version
I’ve blocked all ads on reddit on my own terms, and have actually gone ahead and deleted my 15 year old account too 👍 They can fuck off
The last few years have been absolutely incredible. It’s 18k officially verified titles, but it doesn’t even count what they consider partially compatible, or unplayable because of controls.
In the last year, there’s only been ONE game i’ve thrown at proton, that just would not launch, and ironically, it’s Stanley Parable
Are these the same “completely unattended” Amazon locations, which turned out to have thousands of what essentially were middle-eastern slaves operating the shops remotely?
I’ve learned from my mistakes with Google IoT. Unless I can host things myself, preferably even before the product inevitably dies, i’m not even considering it
The fear is that nix official is being intentionally kept bad, in order to push the product of determinate systems nix.
Part of the reason why a lot of people are moving to projects like Lix, including increasing use amongst core contributors
They have no incentive to fight the voice assistant war anymore. That decisively ended in the late 2010’s with no winner, because they moved onto the next buzzword technology by then. At this point, GA is just on life support, and will continue being a piece of garbage, as they remove more features from it, under the notion that the userbase is not large enough.
That makes sense. Thanks for the answer!
Potentially stupid question: Granted that we have such good vision for planets an incomprehensible distance away from us, why wouldn’t we be able to detect, with certainty, if this planet is actually present in our system? I’m guessing it would take longer to orbit around the sun, than Pluto’s 247 years, but it’d still be detectable because of the distance away from us
No evidence, except for that the entire first paragraph of that page describes his exact behavior. No need to be a bootlicker
Shame that device compatibility is so poor. It’s practically only Xperia phones, and a handful of Xiaomi devices. I was hoping to try it a while ago, when the development of Ubports or Postmarket for any of the devices i own practically stopped
I’ve used the unpatchable Win11 account loophole, that exploits a functionality of your pc, where you wipe your boot drive, and install NixOS on it
