Look, the most third party senators the USA has ever had was 11 in 1899. Even when the parties dissolved or rearranged it was always Demcoratic Republicans v Federalists, Jacksonians v AntiJacksonions, Democrats v Whigs, Democrats v Opposition, Democrats v Republicans.

Last congress there were 4 Independents and it lead to Republicans sweeping the 2024 election.

This is a two party system. One of them wants a King and the other does not. Democrats are the only way to progress. The only way. Singular.

Even with house and senate, he has the SCOTUS behind him and a military at his fingertips.

Most congress can do is starve his branch for funding and even then only with 60 senators.

People aren’t just going to wake up en mass because things are bad: this whole admin is just a replay of 2016-2020 but with a little extra shark jumping, and they STILL reelected Trump’s ass and put GOP in a 53 senate majority.

Then, even if a blue wave sweeps the midterms? So what? Only 20 GOP senators are up for reelection, the DNC currently have 45 seats and 2 Independents, they can’t remove trump without replacing every single GOP an that is beyond improbable.
