A peaceful protest isn’t going to do shit. No protest, no matter how big and how widespread is going to make fascists not be fascists.

If you ran into them in real life you would understand. They were out in Soho which is famous for being an LGBT hub harassing people for “sexual deviancy” telling people they were going to hell and needed to be “saved”

Head office too shitty to give us an actual asset management solution, but we did have full access to the Microsoft suite, so i used a SharePoint lists as databases, powerapps apps running on iPads for all the data entry ux and then like two dozen hacked together power automate flows linking them all together as well as taking any Info out of the actual IT systems head office used and since we didn’t have API access to those system any data feeding back in to them would be in the form of automated emails that the poor 1st line techs in head office would have to sort through and process manually.
And then in a couple years lemmy goes the way of reddit and suddenly were flooded with right wing bots and bad actors spamming lemmy with misinformstion and hate and they scream and cry whenever you try to do anything about it.

Honestly, as much as i dont like the “Hillary and Kamala lost because theyre women!!” Narrative, i think enough people have convinced themselves that its true that the safer bet is just to run AOC as VP and have someone more appealing to your average old white guy democrat as the PoTUS. I think Waltz would be a pretty good pick in that regard, but hell i would take Newsom (or anyone really) at this point.

Cats are a recent addition to Australia. Cats have been in the UK fir thousands of years.
I know this will be unpopular on this site, but outdoor cats are the nirm here. Most places wont even let you adopt a cat if you cant let it outside. They have been here for thousands of years aleady so any potential damage to wildlife would have happened long ago. Until recently the RSPB even posted research that argued cats dont have any meaningful impact on wildlife species here and their most commonly preyed on species are actually increasing in population. Cats also just like to roam, a house cats territory is on the order of acres of land and houses in the UK are too small to offer them enough space, and they tend to get depressed and agitated if kept inside a small area.
So while in North America its better to keep them indoors, generally in the UK its better to let them roam.
