One of my senior cats LOVES lettuce but it has to be fresh and the right cut. It can’t be a bum end, and there’s some mysterious threshold for freshness. Once he gets it he guards it with his life and chows down; then asks for more.

That factory is likely already at capacity and might have to re-tool machines to accommodate a different product, as well there might not be another factory as maybe the sabotage is a crude oil pipeline and sabotaging it effectively halts the operation until repairs are made. Sure some carbon will be released doing those repairs, but that would likely be far less then any ghg’s released during normal operation.

Also, burning down the forest before it can be clear cut could actually be a good idea. The British Columbian wildfires of 2022 were likely caused by excessive forest preservation by putting out any and all wildfires for decades upon decades. This made the forests virtual tinderboxes with all that extra undergrowth. Forest fires are a natural process, so causing one to prevent clear cutting is again arguably better then the clear cut, environmentally speaking.

I really hate AI as it is now only because of all the weird marketing people are doing for it; pretending they don’t know how it works like “omg it’s not supposed to do that idk why it’s doing that”. Anyone can see it’s potential though once they can see through all the SEO bullshit. Like you said, it’s in it’s infancy now and will take a long time to truly mature and it will be amazing when/if it does.

I sold my 3d printer for this reason because there’s no where I can keep it other than my tiny room. I want at least a large storage space that can be ventilated to turn into a sort of creation studio resplendent with a printer, sowing machine, soldering station, etc.

I’ve seen cheap ikea end tables modded for enclosures. Particle board is used to seal up three sides (between each of the legs), and an acrylic panel attached with some cheap hinges goes in the last one to make a door. A hole is cut in one of the boards to allow for ventilation.

Haven’t experienced that with my cats. Mostly they just want the warmth of armpits or for my legs to make a convenient bed for them.
