Science Memes@mander.xyz•This figure illustration from an article on AI sycophancy and human behavior is the epitome of 2026English
324·20 hours agoThat’s blaming technology for a human problem.
———
If you remove AI from the scenario, that human is still a problem.
AI in the hands of a human without those issues, is a non-issue.
Therefore, the problem is very clearly in front of the screen, not behind it.
Just go to JellyFin - because if you buy at either $250 or $1000 or $10000 — it’s still terrible for privacy. Plus they keep pushing stupid MBA features instead of things that users care about.
Jellyfin is the answer
I’m so tired of these people just latching onto whatever the popular thing is now and drawing it to ad nauseum
They complain that AI turns everything homogenous, but the last few of these types of comics give seen all have the same exact punchline. Make it make sense

I don’t understand the point of this besides “AI bad.” It’s clearly articulating how AI is useful, and humans can be dickheads. Why is this a comic?

Does that mean it doesn’t work well, or you hate it, or something else?

2861·7 days agoGenuine curiosity:
You’re of course allowed to be mad at techbros and capitalism, but this feels like getting mad at a technology which I can’t resolve.
It’s a wonderful and fascinating technology that has real value and purpose when used correctly.
Is it a conflating of techbros + the new tech that everyone’s reacting to, or are we actually mad at the tech itself?
Thanks so much in advance for any constructive answers
