I was addicted to reddit. They killed the Reddit is Fun app that I used every day for 10 years, so I had to switch to Lemmy. It was the best thing that happened to me. It took me a few days to stop missing reddit but I am so much happier with Lemmy and never want to go back there again.

I got banned from r/SF for deleting all my comments besides the ones mentioning that I’m moving to Lemmy. The ban was over one year after my last time commenting on Reddit too.

I don’t understand why people are allowed to give money to politicians that aren’t in their district. Like only donate to politicians that are running in the district that you’re registered to vote in.
