My nextcloud instance is on a managed hosting server and has been for the last 4 years. My homeassistant uses the standard raspberry pi image since I’ve had it for the last 3 months.

(And yes I have to constantly withstand the urge to fully self-host my Nextcloud and reinstall my Homeassistant with a Gentoo base.)

I waited 8 year to get a newer phoner that was better than my previous phone in all respects at the same price. And even then it was mostly a convenience upgrade because my old phone was still working well.

LLMs are just knowledge replicators. There are multiple Star Trek episodes that feature this kind of technology without any actuall intelligence but incredibly good at replicating preexisting knowledge and experiences.

Like the Drone that Picard encountered where he lived an entire life in a civilisation that had died long ago. Or basically all Holodeck Episodes.

Still actual intelligence with creative thought is something somehow different.

So really what you do is guess what the code you read is doing. Which is generally fine.

But how can you be sure in a review that the code will actually work? How can you falsify it? A review is more than just reading code.

No, if you are already compromised there is just no way anyone can help you anymore besides wiping your whole system.
