Completely fair, I made this post assuming that ‘anyone on fediverse social forums obviously knows what PeerTube is,’ thanks for pointing out the flaw in my unconscious biases, I’ll keep it in mind if I make more posts like this.

Essentially, PeerTube is to YouTube what Lemmy is to Reddit, a network of video streaming websites where the content of each website is, in theory, accessible through other instances in the network. I made this post in an effort to identify common reasons people who try PeerTube can’t stick around.

Convenient solutions are the best.

I didn’t know that kind of jewellery was called ‘wire weaving’, TIL. I love the detail on them.

Looks nice, I wish you luck with your gardening endeavors :)

That’s a brilliant solution, I had never even considered anything along those lines. Sounds like you’ve really helped some people out - I’m absolutely saving this template for later use.

The level of attention to detail 3D artists can wind up creating is absolutely breathtaking, and seeing the end result here? Gorgeous. Thank you for your contribution :)

I, for one, am actually glad when I see people promoting their businesses a little on here. Too often out in the world you’ll just find astroturfed, mass-manufactured things that come from the same 12 factory floors. We should enjoys sharing our work with our community for as long as they don’t.

It was originally two, but the left and right keys wanted some space.

handsome little fella

You’ve done so well, you have my congratulations :)

I would kill to have that cabinet, it’s so pretty… Thank you for your contribution :)

I’ve been making plans to do something like this for a while, if only to build something that satisfies my own eccentricities. I’d love to know how the process was for you.

People like you make the world a better place.

I’ve thought of building my own cyberdeck on a couple of occassions, yet haven’t bit the bullet yet. I like the assembly video, soothing in a way. I never played the original Garry’s Mod game, so I’ll make sure to take a good look at your project :)

beautiful…

That drill had better be living in the lap of luxury now.

I admit, I knew I was pretty much demanding this exact response when I made the post, but it’s a really nice one either way. Thank you :)

I really need to start writing again aha

I love this kind of stuff, I’ve just never been creative enough to do very much. That’s so lovely, I can see why you’re proud :)

I think we may be using different definitions of politics. I’d argue that even under birthright rule there was plenty of political action, just that it was a club most people weren’t empowered to have any say in.

I think I get what you mean, though, and you’d be right in saying that these things have been polarised to an almost sporting team-like level, where you’re expected to be on one diametrically opposed side or another. Really, it’s just a shame that’s all getting in the way of running things properly.
