Linux is an odd fit for the 68000; it can only run a MMU-less nerfed Linux, which is basically a proof of concept. More interesting could be seeing whether the various 68000 computer/console OSes can be shoehorned into each others’ hardware: can they get some version of MacOS or AmigaDOS running on a MegaDrive, or somehow hack Sonic The Hedgehog to sort-of run on an Atari ST or something.
