There’s an effort by companies whose stock is traded publicly to avoid the need to make their financial data available quarterly
What struck me here is that it’s almost impossible to look at the current state of the U.S. economy, equity markets, trends in retail investing, the widespread public exposure to mutual funds and index funds, and the increasing inattention to white-collar crime and think that what the economy needs is less transparency.
