Everyone walks away before I could tell them that the woman wanted to travel with her friends on flight 175 and that their brother/uncle had by coincidence attended a meeting at the WTC that morning despite being a random Irish guy and not a New Yorker and he’d been helping a woman who had been severely burned by jet fuel find an ambulance when the plane his sister and niece were aboard slammed into the other tower right above them.
Guess I’m not good at parties.

Theres always more. Like 2997 people died and they all have a story. I’m a regular 7 of 9-11 when it comes to this stuff.
Like the exec who only survived because he went down to meet a client in the lobby (security was tight after the 1993 bombing and visitors usually required an escort) which his secretary normally did but he did it himself this one time because she was 8 months pregnant and he didn’t want to put her through the hassle since she was so preggers she was due to start her maternity leave at the end if the week.
The only reason my father-in-law survived 9/11 was because it was his birthday, so he took the day off. Otherwise he would have been in one of the WTC buildings.
Happy Birthday, FIL.
I better he gets pissed when people forget his birthday.
7 of 9/11, omg I’m dying
