    1.They are trying to get regulations passed to cut the competition.

    Only they will have the resources to make sure their AI is secure.

    Can’t let anyone else run any AI.

    1. They want to pretend the AI has its own motivations and so it’s not on them when it’s used to blackmail or hack people/organizations.
