Boeing has informed its employees of uncertainty in future SLS contracts

The White House has not made a final decision yet on the large rocket.

The primary contractor for the Space Launch System rocket, Boeing, is preparing for the possibility that NASA cancels the long-running program.
On Friday, with less than an hour’s notice, David Dutcher, Boeing’s vice president and program manager for the SLS rocket, scheduled an all-hands meeting for the approximately 800 employees working on the program. The apparently scripted meeting lasted just six minutes, and Dutcher didn’t take questions.

    This timing is suspicious/convenient, but I can’t pretend SLS was some well managed project or necessary to propel the future of space exploration. This rocket was a bust even before president elon was involved, it was only a matter of time before it got dragged behind the barn.

      My thoughts exactly. SLS has been a train wreck, but we all know the real reason it’s coming now.

      Yea doing the right the thing for the wrong reason is unfortunately the only way things get done in america since forever.

      While I’d love to just nationalize space-x that isn’t even in the zeitgeist yet and Boeing has to be destroyed before such a thing is possible.
