Where there are no consequences, there is no law.
judicial rulings and orders mean nothing to this administration…
unless, of course, they’re ones they wanted or paid for…
So what now? Are there any consequences for this? The administration is basically giving the middle finger to law and order.
the democrats need to be filing articles of impeachment basically all the time. not because they’ll succeed but because it’s right and correct. they’re fucking obsessed with decorum. well? this breaks the constitution. even if they don’t have the votes and it’s just a waste of time, this is a good time to waste time
Exactly and it’s astounding — no Dems have filed impeachment papers against Trump in 2025. Al Green has said he will, but he hasn’t yet, so the total is still zero. Infuriating.
Impeachment has been of no consequence for over 50 years. It’s toothless. The way out of this is for the common man to rise up.
yes. all i’m asking from the democrats is a bare minimum of help stalling the genocide while we build our coalition
Well, based on recent experience with the budget bill anything that has any chance of succeeding is gonna be a no go with leadership anyway, so this might be the sort of thing they could get behind
The consequences are people standing up and doing something. Even non-violent resistance can make it effectively impossible for ICE to detain someone.
If no one is willing to do that, then no, there are no consequences.
Holding up signs of protest are the new thoughts and prayers. The status quo needs to wake up and quit waiting for someone to save them. Their daddy left to get cigarettes a long time ago and isn’t coming home.
This is so fucking scary
They care not for law or justice, they only care for it when it serves to legitimize their actions.
