You know, you’re no better… You shouldn’t want people to suffer… That’s how we got here… Instead of boosting people up and encouraging people to be better… People like you wish people would suffer…

Maybe you will take some time to reflect and be a better person…

Edit: clearly we are all doomed to be assholes and divided… Maybe instead one day you will see who the real enemy is…

Did I say that though? I don’t think I did… Not liking someone and not criticizing them because they are a bad person is not the same thing as wishing they were a better person… You can do those things at the same time…

No one said be nice to Nazi… You just want them not to be… And maybe if you can do something to help them. instead of you know wishing that they would suffer.

Especially when all of the wrong a lot of these people did was vote for someone because they were told lies about how things would be better…

When they voted for their own suffering, I find it difficult to sympathize with them.

And just because you didn’t vote for a racist sexist committed felon, means you’re better?

Because your party is so great and wants you to prosper? Or is it just controlled by corporations and billionaires with the same agendas?

          Yes.

Don’t know when I said anything about parties or what I think of Democrats. Pretty sure that’s an entirely different topic. (I think they’re the controlled opposition party, for what it’s worth.)

Sure, he raped me, but he was really having some emotional difficulties at the time. I really can’t thank him enough.

A bit of schadenfreude should be expected after a decade of listening to the schmucks spouting off “F your feelings” while getting offended that someone chose a different pronoun. That doesn’t mean that forgiveness isn’t possible from one side, but remorse is necessary for forgiveness to be available. That would mean remorse for creating the issue our country is faced with, not just for their personal circumstance. So far that’s all we’ve seen

Your jesus like approach is nice and all, but a lot of people seem to only learn their lesson after they have suffered. I think we shouldn’t rejoice in their suffering and instead hope they learnt a fucking thing, but given their stupidity literally cost lives, I’d say you shouldn’t be surprised at people enjoying a bit of Schadenfreude.

For what it’s worth, I agree with you in this case, and I’m sorry about your Dad. I hope he sees reason soon.
