      I think the whole point was that a female gaze is just way less developed because they aren’t typically the ones observing but the ones being observed. At least that’s what I got from reading the article

          That’s actually something the article talks about. According to the article, assuming women have that “gaze” because men do is the core of the misunderstanding.

              Yep, it’s pretty weird to go from “women generally want different things” to pretending women don’t find some people visually attractive. They were trying to frame the male gaze as a symptom of the patriarchy but not doing a great job of it.

    This actually is great advice for men whose fitness goal is getting laid, namely that women usually aren’t that interested in jacked up roid apes, unlike other dudes.

    (Also all the dudes disagreeing are admitting they find the male body sexually attractive in at least some way but that’s just my sexuality spectrum pilled opinion)

    I personally learned it years ago from shojos but the other advice those usually give is being pretty instead of handsome.

      unless your goal is to fuck dudes, at which point you probably are gonna want to lift those weights.
