      That is a wheel chair for a medical facility meant for temporary use inside of building and is not designed for someone who spends all day in one.

      The article is specifically about custom fitted wheelchairs which cost significantly more than a standard medical grade wheelchair.

      If you had taken anytime to read the article you would know this. Your willfully uninformed and off the cuff commentary is not helpful.

        I’m also a wheelchair user who has a fully electric wheelchair that was $2,000.

        So, yeah, $1,000 for a manual one seems high.
