    128 is definitely overkill. But I feel like if you’re getting such a high end CPU, and you’re going to keep it for a while 64 could be worth it. OP says they’re mostly just gaming, but they’re probably going to have a web browser and a bunch of other things running in the background that will consume memory.

    The P41 is a great SSD, but they’re only made up to 2tb, and having to split stuff up across two drives is kinda lame and sometimes a hassle. The Crucial P3 is a great budget drive, but it’s very much a budget drive. I have one in my nas and it’s fine, but I’m not writing much data to it. Those drives only have an 800tbw rating vs 2400 on the 990. It also has a very unfortunate cache situation, and as the drive fills up it only gets worse. If you’re looking to save money then sure go for that. But I don’t think $100 is going to break the bank at OPs price point.
