Vance and Mamdani are equal citizens under the law, but the vice president seems to believe that his heritage entitles him to speak in ways that Mamdani can’t. There are tiers of belonging, according to Vance, one for those who can trace their lineage to one of the nation’s two founding revolutions and another for those who can’t.

For Vance, this is something close to common sense. And for some Americans it was, before the Civil War.

    For real, how about this.

Anyone who thinks that they have claim over a fucking country or other people because of anything their ancestors did or anyone else’s ancestors did, good or bad, is out.

Be a decent person, it’s not rocket surgery.

Okay but I will continue to hate the Mormons for what their ancestors did and what they now do. The number of sub cults and SovCits amongst their ranks shows they’ve little improved since my ancestors killed their so called pioneers, never a lot of them mind you but a couple here and there pretty sure they were written off as being consumed by the desert.
