Texas Democrats protesting GOP redistricting in their home state were forced to evacuate a Chicago hotel early Wednesday morning following a bomb threat.
He’s a billionaire, but his actions over the course of his tenure as Illinois governor have backed up his progressive policy stances.
In a hypothetical situation where he’s on stage talking to the masses, I’d still have the guillotine sharpened and in his periphery but he has earned at least some good will in his political actions. No one else was offering these Texas lawmakers a place to stay.
