People hate me for talking about it, but read up on 5th and 4th generation warfare.
WW2 was generation 3 warfare. And it seems most people still think that if there’s a civil war or any war really, that the war is going to still be that outdated WW2 style warfare.
For the real players of power, nations are a tool in global control and nationalism truly does not matter in terms of loyalty.
I had that feeling growing up but not the words to put it in. That world war three won’t look like two and we’re probably in it right now (this was many years ago when different turmoil was happening.)
The other reply posted a link that I’d like to read because it looks fascinating which discusses the generations of warfare. I got through the abstract but it’s early rn so I’m not trying to get through the whole thing. It confirms what I felt all these years
