No it’s not but I recall people making similar lists for other causes, most recently ICE agents, or DODGE staffers, etc. This isn’t new, and it is the new political reality. We can’t be like them saying “hey not for us” when we employ the same tactics they do.
DODGE is a government agency and they were carrying out a political agenda they WON the election on. Guess what, this is what we are seeing happening across the US government. The same with ICE. More than HALF of your country wanted this. I don’t like what they’re doing but that’s the choice Americans made. If you want to reverse it, elect a government that can!
There are very much other instances of us on the “left” doing this. People have gotten fired for being vaguely racist lgbt etc speech. This is very much the same type of argument they are making. This is echo chamber talk and the downvote that I am seeing is very much a reflection of the lack of self-awareness that we often accuse them of. Do reflect deeply, and not act just on the basis of your emotions and biases.
Also, do dig deeper, some have said much more than “Kirk was hateful.”

So… To you, hate towards a group of people, and hate of a person spreading hate for a group of people - thats the same thing to you?
You see absolutely zero difference between “this person did awful things” and “all ‘x’ people are awful by nature of being born as ‘x’”?
