This is literally the most optimistic I’ve ever been for the DNC as a political organization.
Except for a small slice in 07-08, this is the only time I’ve been optimistic in the DNC tho, to be fair. So it’s a pretty low bar.
Don’t watch any of Harris’s interviews about her book if you want to maintain that optimism

She might win a Senate seat somewhere with a corrupt state party, but there’s no fucking way she can win a fair primary, she couldn’t even win a sham one.
And now that the DNC is prioritizing red/purple states in (literally) the largest redistribution of wealth from a national party to state parties, those corrupt state parties no longer have the DNC behind them.
All that money stolen from red/purple states was to get dem voters to vote for shitty neoliberals in solid blue states. They don’t have that money to throw around in the next Dem primaries.
