(Do not click, contains bad Data)
My favorite thing about this is the context: It was literally about losing a video game.
(Data thought he was broken 'cus he lost)Well, I liked more the message, it was about Data losing a video game to a humanoid, and him thinking he is broken because of that, but during the episode he learns a lot about the human condition with this, which is his ultimate goal and maybe he is more human than ever, that’s my favorite thing about it.
Also that then he leans into his strengths and just plays the game not to win, but to a stalemate, because he knows he can do it indefinitely while the opponent will eventually either get tired or gets frustrated and has to give up.
This is all very true. I didn’t mean it wasn’t a profound message - just that the profound can come from odd places. It was an excellent episode in my opinion.
Also possible to make mistakes and still win. Chaos!
What a world.
Thought that post looked familiar for a second. I may post a bit too much.
