In a wide-ranging interview with NBC News, the California governor slammed the GOP-controlled Congress and the Supreme Court for bowing to Trump.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday said he’s “deeply confident” that California voters this week will approve the state’s Prop 50 ballot measure, which would allow the state to redraw congressional maps on a partisan basis ahead of next year’s midterm elections.
In a wide-ranging interview, the California governor slammed the president’s push for mid-decade redistricting efforts in Republican states across the country, accusing the president of “rigging” next year’s congressional election and warning that Trump “is not screwing around.”
“He’s changing the rules. He’s rigging the game because he knows he’ll lose if all things are equal,” Newsom told Welker. “He did not expect California to fight fire with fire.”

No. The rules of the game are now being followed by the lame Dems who have refused to play by the new rules.
Came here to say this. The rules are the same, or rather there aren’t really rules, now we’re just playing the same game.
Which I hate, but understand we need to do it.
The difference is California is doing it right in that it’s asking for the people’s permission and it’s a limited term abuse of power.
Yup.
Important distinction.
Texas bypassed their voters for permanent changes.
California deferred to their voters for temporary changes while the fascists are in power.
Where’s that freedom I keep hearing about, Texas?
Why can’t you conservatives go celebrate cruelty somewhere? Already tired of all this “winning”?
Explain how you came to the conclusion that the person you replied to is a conservative?
“lame Dems”
In the two party system of the USA, either you Endorse the DNC or you’re enabling the GOP, simple as.
Then why do we have primary elections?
To pick the candidate on the ticket for the party you endorse.
Doesn’t that imply that a Democrat might find another Democrat lame, and not vote for them, while still supporting the party?
If the DNC lose any seats then a Republican wins and the world is a worse place.
If a Democrat doesn’t win the nomination then they aren’t a Democrat candidate.
There is only one morally acceptable situation where you don’t vote for the DNC: a second Bernie Sanders is the leading candidate in polls, because a Republican is always Always ALWAYS worse.
Ok, and how is saying that some democrats are lame on an Internet forum the same thing as not voting for the presidential nominee? Also can you rephrase your last sentence? It’s completely incoherent.
Lol. I’m no conservative.
