Rep. Adelita Grijalva, D-Ariz., signed a petition Wednesday to force a House vote on releasing files related to Jeffrey Epstein, giving it the needed 218 signatures.

Grijalva was sworn in as the newest member of Congress on Wednesday, more than seven weeks after she won a special election in Arizona to fill the House seat last held by her late father.

I thought all this time the vote was to release, now I understand it’s there just to force the house to vote. Probably won’t pass given how it went so far :(

    But we’ll find out

Nah. Johnson has been blocking the vote so his republican counterparts can hide behind the lack of a vote. Now they have to put directly on the record that they do/don’t want to release the files.
