I’m not looking forward to putting up Xmas lights at my new house. Not because of concerns about falling off the roof or from the 20 foot ladder. I’m not looking forward to how crazy-sore my legs and back will be from reaching on the ladder
My parents are too old and not functional enough to help, the Gramps is 95, one cousin would only show up after pounding a 6-pack and would keep drinking the whole time and get mopey, and the other cousin said he’d help but is such a die-hard OSU/Lions fan that kinda wipes out Saturday and Sunday.

Of course it’s your own decision, but I just wanted to tell you, I’m not mad or sad if you just skip it this year.
Understood. Do your best to take care of yourself, but don’t hesitate to ask for help from friends/family.

I want to put permanent ones on our house. Do it once and that’s it.
